"How To Increase (Your) Money Supply... No Matter
What The Federal Reserve Does!"
If you are looking for ways to:
· Increase your cash flow;
· Develop customer loyalty;
· Increase sales;
· Reduce or eliminate cash refunds on returned items
Customers love the convenience of Gift Cards
Here’s why the Return on Investment is extremely
impressive.
- Gift cards are rarely used for exactly their full value. Either
the consumer spends more than face value, (known as ticket lift);
or less than face value, (known as “breakage”). Either
way, your business wins.
- Gift cards can double as loyalty cards-rewarding repeat clients.
- Gift cards are safer than paper gift certificates because they
eliminate fraud and counterfeiting of paper gift certificates.
- Gift cards are easier to use than paper gift certificates because
instead of taking up to 20 minutes to issue one certificate, you
can load up a gift card in 20-30 seconds!
- Plastic cards are also great advertising tools because they
are brandable. Customers will carry a mini-billboard in their
wallet or purse.
Facts you should know...
- The market for purchasing cards is growing rapidly - est. $164B
in 2005. (Source: Celent Communications)
- Approximately 55 percent of survey respondents who have received
gift cards reported that they needed more than one trip to deplete
the value stored on their cards. In addition, the majority of
return shoppers said they spent more than their cards' initial
value.
- Average card value is $60 this year, up from $51 per card a
year ago.

clients. Just contact us.
Does your system support chain stores?
Yes. This is called “Pooling”. Let’s
say you have 2 (or 2,000) store locations. Location A can sell a
gift card to a loyal customer. That customer travels to Location
B (or L, or Q, or XYZ) to buy from you there.
Store A will keep the money they got when they “loaded”
the value on your customer’s card. When the card is redeemed,
USMS will transfer the money to the redeeming location and report
the transaction to you each month.
Will my mail order, (or Internet), business be able to
use your gift card system?
Yes, again. Your customer will receive a gift card number, instead
of a physical card. Then, when they wish to redeem it’s value,
they simply provide their gift card number to buy from you.
What happens if the gift card is lost or stolen?
Fear not. We can negate the value of the lost or stolen gift card
and you’ll be able to reissue a new card to your (relieved)
customer.
